starvin'marvin's

visited the hoover building today and stopped down the road for dinner at starvin'marvin's, a good looking diner from the motorway, but not so great food inside. fairly basic menu with nothing special or original. american burger-joint style frozen foods but fresher milkshakes. if a place as good looking as this can't match it's looks with well made classic foods wouldn't it be better with its own greasy-spoon type menu or as least find it's own feet and own menu. by the design and interior of the diner i guess that it was built in the early 90's in the 50's style. still worth a visit if driving that way.
