Made in Ireland in the mid 1970s. a much over-looked model with a heavy pressed steel base that allows for a much smaller foot-print than the lighter weight models while still making use of the earlier cast aluminium middle sections. although the steel is a lot stronger i guess that this was a cost cutting exercise by black and decker. found in fairly good condition with little use over the years, number five in my workmate collection and all for only a fiver at a car boot sale.
