upholstered stacking tubular steel chair spotted in the film The Gift House (1952)  -US warship gifted to the British Navy c.1940s staring among others Richard Attenborough and Sid James. i'm still searching for any film and tv references of 'pel' chairs, please let me know if you spot any.
