The End Is Nigh - Eames spotted in McDonalds

Not satisfied with flooding outlets with Arne Jacobsen Series 7 & Egg chairs by Fritz Hansen, McDonalds are now issuing Eames side shell chairs across the UK, as seen above in London's answer to the Las Vegas strip; the McDonalds Drive-Thru on Old Kent Road. The chairs are Vitra issues. Although McDonalds must order very large quantities, don't Vitra and Fritz Hansen consider the effect on the domestic market sales?
Personally I am very happy to see quality chairs used in public spaces; the like of which they were originally designed for.
Time will show how long these chairs will last for, The Eames chairs are in the 'matt' plastic finish which gets very grubby, marks very easy and gets destroyed by rivets on jeans. Leaning back on the chair normally breaks the joint between the metal base and plastic top and the cup type feet crack off when hit against table bases.
