rupert blanchard at midcentury modern

Thank you to everyone who visited me at Midcentury Modern today-
such a busy day and so good to be a part of a really great show.
As you can see from the photos- I've been hard at work for the past few weeks on two major new pieces to exhibit at the show- These are my biggest pieces to date -The right hand side unit contains a collection of 35 drawers that have been salvaged all over the UK. The drawers date from Victorian to 1970s and once belonged to dressing tables to sideboard, workbenches to sewing machine tables.

If this is your first visit to my Blog, you can look through a selection of my furniture designs, retail, exhibition and interior design projects -please have a look through the projects and interests listed down the left hand side of the page.

Thank you to everyone for your kind comments and a massive thank you to Martin, Polly, Robin, Alice, Jazz and Jamie for the continuing support. If you need any further information, Please use the 'comment' button or email me at rukoka79@ymail.com Thank you.

  1. Hello, just checking out your website after seeing these gorgeous pieces at Midcentury. They were by far the best things at the show, and in fact the best and most beautiful example of innovative recycling I've ever seen. Wow! Absolutely love 'em!
