Thank you to the 'gentle author' of Spitalfields Life for introducing me to Bruno Besagni, the original creator of the horse lamp(s) that you might have spotted in my photographs or at my workshop.

although often thought of as 'anonymous' by design it has been so satisfying to finally find and meet the man behind the 'BB' makers mark on the rear of the horse lamp and many other plaster cast classics. Bruno is a great man, a pleasure to meet.

...if you would like to see one of the lamps in person, my workshop/show is open until 6pm today at the rear of Momosan's Shop in Shoreditch, East London. Momosan Shop is open Thurs-Sun but we will be re-opening my space for a special exhibition of my large collection of cardboard boxes on December 1st until Christmas, a must see for any graphic design or cardboard box nerd!
